Imam Ismail Elshikh will hold an educational session for women on Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Sessions will also be held on Sunday, May 5th and Sunday, May 12th. We hope to see you there, inshaAllah!

Eid mubarak! InshaAllah, Eid El-Adha will be held on Friday, October 26, 2012.
On Thursday, October 25, 2012 there will be iftar at the masjid for those who are fasting. Food will be provided.
Prayer
Location: The location of Salat ul-Eid is at McCoy Pavilion at Ala Moana Beach Park.
Time: 8:30 a.m. Takbeerat begin. Salat will begin soon thereafter.

Abdul Rashid Abdullah, a former Hawaii resident and the founding committee chairperson for Boy Scout Troop/Pack 114 of the Islamic Center of Northern Virginia, will be holding a presentation on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 after maghrib about having our own pack here in Honolulu. Prayer
Location: McCoy Pavilion, Ala Moana Beach Park
Time: 8:30 a.m. Takbeerat begin. Salat will begin soon thereafter.
Celebration
Eid festivities will begin immediately after the salat.
Please remember to pay your Zakat ul-Fitr. If you pay after the salat begins it will no longer be considered Zakat ul-Fitr. It will only be considered Sadaqa. You can also pay at the masjid and there are envelopes specially marked for that purpose near the donation box.

Ramadan mubarak! InshaAllah, the first day of Ramadan will be Friday, July 20th, 2012. The taraweeh prayer will begin on Thursday, July 19th, 2012.
As a reminder, anyone who cannot attend the entire evening program should park outside the masjid, being careful to respect all traffic laws as well as the neighbors and each other.
Community iftar gatherings will inshaAllah be every day that is sponsored. We encourage each family or group of families to sponsor an iftar for the community. A sign-up sheet is posted at the masjid. We are seeking volunteers for clean-up, parking organization and child care. There will be no potluck-style iftars.

We're planning an open house at the masjid that will be open to the public. Details regarding the date and time are forthcoming. Donations are needs for the purchase of books and DVDs that will be gifted to the visitors.
