Women of Faith
Esther took a very courageous stand and boldly accessed the king with a request for her people. 聽She did it as if she鈥檇 been born for such a time as that, and indeed she had.聽 What grace.聽 What conviction.聽 What an example for all of us.
As bold as Esther was, her story is one of great humility and discernment.聽 She 鈥渟oftly鈥 moved about the kingdom, trusting God to accomplish His purpose in and through her, which is exactly what He did.聽 Oh God, make us like Esther.
Thank you for the wonderful devotional thought It is comforting to remember that God has prepared a way for us out of every situation. The solutions to our crises is to look up, Seek Him and you shall find Him. He is still alive and longing for us today!,
Putting god in the first place means we have to be guided as the children of Israel have been.Putting God in the first place is to surrender to Him and obeying Him in every situation,even we do not understand,as He knows what suits us the best.We do not know how Queen Esther ended in that court yard,but we know she had a big and important impact on the king’s decision on saving people’s life at a moment of her life.She put God first and the Holy Spirit did the change in the king’s heart.Let us also purify our mindset and put God first..

I needed to read these words today! I have been praying for God’s direction in my life. I realize now I need to prepare myself for sharing with others what he has done for me. I thank him for what I have been through because now I have become the woman he designed me to be. Even though he isn’t finished with me, he’s given me an answer for what I must do. I love the book of Esther! I would love to be more like her!
I’ve been struggling with a situation regarding discrimination and how to respond with grace, yet boldness. Reading this today gave me the resolve to be like Esther. God bless you for this insight!
You know I have been married for 43 years. My marriage has been very stormy, because of this I was separated from my husband for 12 years. During the years of separation I developed a closer walk with the Lord, and because of my love for Jesus and the urges and proddings in my heart to return to my husband, I did so. I am living again with my husband just over two years now, and started to have the same rocky relationship like before. Things got so bad that I was questioning the Lord if I really did the right thing in returning to my husband. Although I was praying nothing seemed to change. However to make it short it’s just been three days since I joined WOF, this is my first newletter I received and it has really uplifted my faith and given me the strength to go on trusting the Lord for my marriage. I just want to praise God for WOF and may God continue to bless you and keep you to save other marriages. God is an awesome GOD!!!
