JOB: The Age-Old Question

JobIt’s one of the most familiar names and books of all time…Job.  We all know the absolute agony he endured.  Worst of all, God knew and did nothing to stop the pain.  How could Job survive such pressure and loss?  And how could a loving God permit His loved one to endure such pain, especially through no fault of his own?

It’s the age-old question, and the very fact that there is no answer has been the source of comfort for people throughout the ages who suffer and cry out and sense little heavenly intervention. God is sovereign.  He is always in control, and He is always there – even when it hurts.

  1. I smiled reading this. I remember reading Job sometime ago and here I am reflecting on it. I am desperately looking for a job not any job but the one where I love my job and not just collecting a paycheck, a job where I can give back. No job no home and no income I am at my lowest but yet I feel I am in this position for a reason.Every thing happens in a timing. I have one task and that’s to stay faithful.
