There exist many Qur'an versions (English translations of the Qur'an) with often-times vastly different renderings of the same verse. Regularly, this is due to the fact that the Arabic text is unclear. For detailed discussions of such cases, see the section on Qur'an Versions.

Arabic Versions

The same story often occurs several times in the Qur'an. At times, the stories do not only complement but seemingly contradict each other.
