Response to Misha'al Al-Kadhi: Jesus in the Qur'an
A response to Chapter 8
Jesus in the Qur'an
There's not much to say in response to what Mr. Al-Kadhi wrote.
Christians neither look to the Qur'an, the Hindu Vedas,
or any other book to discover the truth about Jesus.
Anything beyond the scriptures is speculation.
The Jesus described in the Qur'an is not the same Jesus
as described in the Scriptures. That's why the Christians
rejected Muhammad as a prophet of God.
"But even if we or an angel from heaven should proclaim
to you a gospel contrary to what we proclaimed to you,
let that one be accursed" -- (Galatians 1:8).
In the Scriptures, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth,
and the life. No one comes to the Father except through
me" (John 14:6). "For the Son of Man came not to be
served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for
many" (Mark 10:45).
