More Than a Movie: Experts Claim Real Reason for U.S. Embassy Attacks Is Much More Sinister

  • Islamists claim their bloody siege of the U.S. Embassies in Cairo and Benghazi on the eleventh anniversary of the 9/11 attacks was catalyzed by an “anti-Islam” movie
  • Experts say the real reason for the onslaught was not a movie mocking Islam, but part of a concerted “ten year plan” to make slandering Islam unlawful on an international scale
  • U.S. administration’s hair-trigger reaction was to first apologize for offending Islam, rather than meet fire with fire over the act of war on U.S. soil
  • A contingent of the Islamists waging the attacks were the very “rebels” America aided in the Arab Spring uprisings in Egypt and Libya

The bloody attacks on U.S. embassies in Egypt and Libya that left four American public servants, including a U.S. ambassador dead, have sparked international outrage and controversy. Islamists claim that the catalyst for the riots was the release of an American movie critical to Islam, but according to Middle East and foreign policy experts interviewed by TheBlaze, there is a more sinister motivation at play for these bloody acts of aggression than meets the eye.

The film, to experts, only served as a “convenient excuse” for Islamists — particularly Salafists and  members of the Muslim Brotherhood — to escalate tensions to a fever pitch in the hopes of achieving their ultimate goal: To make “slandering” Islam unlawful on an international level.

If it sounds too far-fetched to come to fruition, those whose life work has been to study, analyze, and in many instances prosecute Islamic terrorists, provide some compelling food for thought. First it is important to understand the current complexity of the relationship between the U.S., Libya and Egypt following the Arab Spring uprising.

The genesis of Tuesday’s bloody attacks

While the Middle East has been no stranger to turmoil, the years 2010 and 2011 marked a significant turning point in the region, as the U.S., led by President Obama under the guise of NATO, intervened in Libya’s budding civil war between civilian rebels and forces loyal to the late Moammar Gadhafi. Preventing the carnage from overspilling further, America’s role in helping to overthrow the despot who ruled Libya with an iron fist for over four decades turned out to be a thankless job.

On Tuesday, militants — some of whom were likely part of the very rebel-base the U.S. supported against Gadhafi — breached the American Consulate in Benghazi, slaughtering four Americans including U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens. But a similar situation brews in Egypt. As with Libya, the Obama administration wholeheartedly signed on to aiding the “middle class folks” trying to catch a break in Tahrir Square as they waged an “Arab Spring” to oust then-President Hosni Mubarak. Again, Obama stepped in, aiding the very rebels who reports now indicate are largely Muslim Brotherhood operatives and other militants hostile to the West and Israel.

How did the newly “free” Egyptian “middle class folk” thank the U.S. for its efforts? Seize the U.S. embassy in Cairo,  lower the American flag that had been flying at half-mast in honor of 9/11, and replace it with a black Islamic flag declaring jihad that read: ”There is no God but Allah and Mohammed is his messenger.” The configuration of the letters formed an emblem often used by Islamic radicals. Meanwhile, protesters chanted, “we are all Osama.”

The U.S. response

Islamists claim that the catalyst for both the attacks in Cairo and Benghazi were based on the release of an obscure American film critical of Islam.

Below is a trailer for the movie:

Even some members of the embassy’s staff took to Twitter to state that the U.S. government condemned the movie. The tweets were subsequently deleted and the State Department and the White House has since distanced itself from the comments.

Nonetheless, U.S. consulates and its employees — especially after three and half years — are indeed part of the administration, thus many believe the tweets in question reflect the overall view of the Obama White House: apologize for offending Islam rather than go toe-to-toe with enemies who carried out an act of war on American soil.

The president stated that while the United States “rejects efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others, we must all unequivocally oppose the kind of senseless violence that took the lives of these public servants.” Hardly the kind of self-assured response one would hope for in a commander in chief following an act of aggression on this scale.

Motivations

Earlier on Wednesday, TheBlaze reported that experts assert the protests were planned by Salafists (an extremists sect of Islam) with the Noor party, which holds roughly one-quarter of Egyptian parliamentary seats, long before reports surfaced of the questionable “anti” Mohammed movie. Noor Party leader Nader Bakkar joined the rampaging crowd while simultaneously (and perhaps conveniently) condemning the onslaught. TheBlaze adds:

The protest outside the U.S. Embassy in Cairo was announced Aug. 30 by Jamaa Islamiya, a State Department-designated terrorist group, to protest the ongoing imprisonment of its spiritual leader, Sheikh Omar abdel Rahman, who is serving a life sentence in the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center.

One also cannot avoid the fact that one of the very first responses to come out of the administration was not to assail those who waged an act of war against the U.S., but to apologize for offending Muslims — and therein lies the rub.

Consider the following.

Reuters report on Wednesday following the attacks indicated that General Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the U.S. military’s Joint Chiefs of Staff, actually spoke with Pastor Terry Jones by phone and asked him to withdraw his support for the film which allegedly mocked the Prophet Mohammad.

“In the brief call, Gen. Dempsey expressed his concerns over the nature of the film, the tensions it will inflame and the violence it will cause,” Dempsey’s spokesman, Colonel Dave Lapan, told Reuters.

U.S. military officials are allegedly concerned that the movie could incite violence against any of the 74,000 U.S. troops stationed in Afghanistan. In fact, earlier on Wednesday, the Taliban called on Afghans to do just that: “Take revenge” on U.S. soldiers over the film.

The idea put forth by experts is fairly straightforward: By proving time and again that slandering Islam will bear a hefty price-tag which includes the loss of American lives, Islamists believe that U.S. lawmakers will ultimately find it in Americans’ best interest to introduce legislation deeming it unlawful to slander Islam.

While many would consider such a push to be an assault on the First Amendment, progressives, already on full-throttle when it comes to their political correctness-agenda, could likely attempt to pass off such legislation, regulations or penalties under the banner of “protecting” the public, and further, military men and women from potential violence.

Muslim Brotherhood President Mohamed Morsi indicated as much himself. While never fully condemning the U.S. embassy attacks, the newly elected Egyptian president did make demands on the U.S. to address, via legal channels, the alleged slight on Islam.

Reuters reports that Morsi asked the Egyptian embassy in Washington to take “all legal measures” permitted in the U.S. against the filmmakers for their supposed crimes.

So as the Muslim Brotherhood mouthpiece compels Egyptian embassies to place pressure on the U.S. government to prevent further insults to Islam using legal channels, the floodgates could soon open. You might also recall from TheBlaze’s “Rumors of War III” documentary and previous reports that the Muslim Brotherhood is gaining a foothold in American government and politics.

Expert analysis

Andrew McCarthy, former Assistant United States Attorney responsible for leading the 1995 prosecution of Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman – a.k.a. the “Blind Sheik” — shared his thoughts with TheBlaze based on years researching Islamic extremism.  He believes that President Obama has exacerbated “a longtime, bipartisan failure to confront the fact that Islamic supremacism is not a fringe ideology of terrorists.”

“It is the predominant Islam of the Muslim Middle East, and it is rabidly anti-American,” he told TheBlaze.

“Obama looks at it as something to be embraced. When it collides with American constitutional standards, like Sharia blasphemy laws do with American free speech, he would have our Constitution give way.”

In terms of the president’s foreign policy, McCarthy stated unequivocally that it “has been a debacle.”

“Sometimes it is amateur hour, sometimes it is the willful aiding and abetting of the Muslim Brotherhood and other anti-Western Islamists. In either case, the result has been to subordinate American interests to the interests of America’s enemies.” McCarthy, who was featured on TheBlaze documentary, “Rumors of War III,” added that GOP contender Mitt Romney is now well-primed, in the wake of the U.S. embassy-attacks, to show his leadership.

“Romney has no lines to worry about — and those who say he does are making a terrible mistake. He wants to be president of the United States, he needs to show that he will be an effective champion of American principles and interests.”

Cited as the Pentagon’s leading expert on Islamic law, Stephen Coughlin also caught up with TheBlaze to talk about the “ten-year plan” that was drafted by Islamists in 2005 intended to make Islamic slander a crime — not just in Islamic countries, but across the globe.

“And now they are putting that into action,” he said pointedly.

Coughlin explained that there was never an “Arab Spring,” but rather, a “Salafist-Muslim Brotherhood takeover” in the Middle East and that accepting that fact is key to understanding Islamists’ strategy.

He asked for people think back to the disproportionate outrage that ensued in the Muslim community over the Pope’s 2009 comments about Islamic tyranny, and to the fist Quran burning in Florida led by pastor Terry Jones.

Both incidents, according to the attorney and scholar, were actually first reported on in the Muslim world not Western media. The goal, he claimed, was to “manufacture an event” with which to incite violence and ultimately “subordinate the U.S. First Amendment.” It was engineered “to get President Bush, Obama, whoever…to say ‘sorry.’” Thus the goal is to compel the West to blame the West for bringing violence upon itself.

He added that there is a “total lack of situational and strategic awareness” in U.S. government and that groups like the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) and American Islamists are actively attempting to “get us to defeat ourselves.”

“We have allowed ourselves to be surrounded by Muslim Brotherhood front groups” in government who are even affecting the training of our officials. His advice to Romney or any lawmaker moving forward is simple: “Jihadists are fighting in accordance with Islamic law…when they say they are jihadists, [at least] pretend that they mean it.”

To summarize his overall feelings on America’s enemies, Coughlin closed the interview with a quote from Abe Lincoln, in which the 16th president talked about “the dogmas of the quiet past” being “inadequate to the stormy present.”

“As our case is new, so we must think anew, and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country,” Lincoln continued.

Could U.S. law really change to suit the Islamist agenda?

Whether or not Islamists would ever be able to achieve their ultimate goal of changing U.S. law to suit their theological agenda remains a long-shot, but they certainly seem to be trying. It is also worth noting that if such an event were to even happen at all, it would likely be carried out subtly, in stages.

Regardless of the outcome it would behove analysts, intelligence agencies, specialists and policy makers to not succumb to mores of political correctness and become willfully blind to the true face of Islam.

As Maya Angelou said: “The first time someone shows you who they are, believe them.”

Islam is a cult based on hate, lies, and Child-rape….

The only people who practice it are fools with brains too tiny to realize that they follow a belief that is not in their own best interest. Their belief enslaves them to a life of hate and willful ignorance…

Muslims are the worst lot humanity has to offer (I would rather share a room with a convicted rapist than I would with a Muslim, as you could probably trust 10% of what the rapist says, and nothing that the muslim says…)

I will slander and talk about the truths of Islam, and there is nothing those primitive sand-camels can do about it… But they are always welcome to try, as I am armed, trained, and ready to go at all times (unless I am asleep, of course).

Very interesting. I changed the words from Islam/Muslim to Israel/Jew/Judaism, and it was removed from plain sight. Can you say bias, propagandist, hypocrite? Does this not prove the overwhelming, disproportionate, Jewish influence on our media.

Wouldn’t fairness dictate that both stand or both removed? You be the judge. They have proved my claims.

REPORTS: No Live Ammo for Marines

Marine blogs say U.S. embassy did not authorize service members to carry ammo

U.S. Marines defending the American embassy in Egypt were not permitted by the State Department to carry live ammunition, limiting their ability to respond to attacks like those this week on the U.S. consulate in Cairo.

Ambassador to Egypt Anne Patterson “did not permit U.S. Marine guards to carry live ammunition,” according to multiple on U.S. Marine Corps blogs spotted by Nightwatch. “She neutralized any U.S. military capability that was dedicated to preserve her life and protect the US Embassy.”

U.S. officials have yet to confirm or comment on the reports. Time magazine’s Battleland blog Thursday “Senior U.S. officials late Wednesday declined to discuss in detail the security at either Cairo or Benghazi, so answers may be slow in coming.”

If true, the reports indicate that Patterson shirked her obligation to protect U.S. interests, Nightwatch states.

“She did not defend U.S. sovereign territory and betrayed her oath of office,” the report states. “She neutered the Marines posted to defend the embassy, trusting the Egyptians over the Marines.”

While Marines are typically relied on to defend U.S. territory abroad, such as embassies, these reports indicate that the Obama administration was relying on Egypt’s new Muslim Brotherhood-backed government to ensure American security, a move observers are questioning

Existence with Islam is incompatible with liberty and peace, it must be eliminated.
Only a simpleton believes this is about oil. In fact this has been going on for over a millennium, the use of crude oil only spans 100 years. No, this is about Islamic hegemony (authority or control: control or dominating influence by one person or group, especially by one political group over society or one nation over others).
Our involvement in and with this region has to do, not with spreading democracy, but rather stopping the spread of Islamic Sharia law, on this we have been, as a nation involved since our founding.
People really ought get their history from people other than Howard Zinn and Noam Chomsky, both men are revisionist and both are socialists, ok, at least the living one, Chomsky still is.
To say this is about oil, and or about Israel, is to ignore over 1000 years of world history. Islam wants the globe under Sharia law; they came close to claiming all of Europe not a few hundred years ago, they, if left alone, as some wish we would do, will continue as they are commanded by Allah. The Muslim, cannot negotiate, cannot exist with Christians or Jews or any other “infidel.” The problem with Islam is that they are not interested in weather or not you believe what they believe and they could care less about your opinion, the mission is your destruction and their dominion over the globe entire.
Obama, at this time in American history, may be willing to trade the Jewish

In 1776, John Adams published “Thoughts on Government,” in which he praises the Islamic prophet Muhammad as a “sober inquirer after truth” alongside Confucius, Zoroaster, Socrates, and other thinkers.

In 1785, George Washington stated a willingness to hire “Mahometans,” as well as people of any nation or religion, to work on his private estate at Mount Vernon if they were “good workmen.” It was a rhetorical statement, as he hired no such people.[2

If the radical elements of Islam are trying to move public opinion within the American government to somehow legally protect the Muslim agenda, couldn’t it be possible to reverse engineer the Muslim agenda against them? Hear me out. I don’t view Islam as a cult or a religion, per say. I view it as a sociopolitical organization that was once based in theological ideals, but has evolved into an organization that is rooted in political ideology and only clings to past religious heritage to only protect itself from its enemies. With this religious protection, it absorbs only the most violent elements of the religion to use for enforcement. This agenda/plan can be viewed similarly, in my opinion, to what was once the KKK.
Given the above factors, here lies the opportunity. Could it not be argued that the Muslim ideology is closer in practice to the KKK than it is to mainstream religions that preach peace and love to a God (by whatever name you choose)? Let’s not argue based on sect/group/organization, but let’s classify Muslim/Islam as a terrorist organization. IF Islam is a religion of peace then this argument will be lost. That is fine. However, I think the burden of proof should lie on the shoulders of Islam. We can see with our own eyes the fury of their violence, but I have yet to witness any peace and love coming from this supposed religion. If they are true to their word, is this not an easy position for them to secure?

The problem is you have a bunch of nut-cases who have become a cancer into the religion.

Please, people, stop demonizing other religions because of the actions of a few. You all go on complaining about how Atheists generalize Christians to the likes of the Westboro Baptist Church, yet here you are doing the exact same thing to Muslims.

The USA must firmly stand behind our freedom of speech which is guaranteed in our Constitution. Obama must make it clear that in the USA each citizen has the right to express his opinions about religion, even if those opinions upset some Muslims. In a Muslim country, criticism of Islam results in death or imprisonment.

It also wasn’t the only gig in town, unless you stretch the truth a wee bit by ignoring its neighbor, the Roman Empire. You know, the one the Arabs continually raided, wiping out urban and civic cultures, institutions, and hundreds of thousands of citizens? The Dark Ages indeed.

Under cover of rioting, shock news, and natural disasters, world governments are ripping the the fabric of society out from under our feet. It isn’t the ones who riot that you should fear. In broad daylight governments push political and economic agendas – $pending – causing inflation and resulting joblessness, crime, and human suffering. What’s a few casualties when the attention-grabbing headlines are mere distractions? We stupidly take up causes used and manipulated by others. You, me, The_Jerk, we are had. Recent price hikes were blamed on the weather, while tomorrows prices will be blamed on an unstable Middle East. Don’t lose focus.

Islam is a major worldwide religion, there are many more Muslims in the world than there are Christians, unfortunately the Muslims who actually practice their religion rather than distort it and twist it into justification for violence and acts of brutality don’t seem to be willing to condemn and ex-communicate the radical elements of it’s religion the way Christian religions do. Until they distance themselves from and isolate this radical elements and prevent them from hiding behind Islam the entire religion will be tarnished. As for this movie being the reason for these riots and killings, that is just nonsense 99% of the people in these countries that are rioting don’t have access to the internet. How would they ever even have seen this/ These people are not rioting because of this movie, they are rioting because they have been stirred up into haters by their radical Imams.

These Muslims laid claim to finding the Americas before Columbus a couple of weeks back and that’s why they want their camel stinking flag flying over our WH. They want everything that others made. They hate us, but envy us more. They are a backward, barbaric people who only destroy and TAKE. Those Occupy masks are very fitting. Again, they’re trying to “look western” as bad as these hideous masks are and stand for. It’s wouldn’t surprise me if Muslims themselves hired this guy to make a film that would drive riots and violence across the Mideast as an excuse to attack Americans and our embassies. And then blame Americans and Christians for their behavior.
      Looks like:
      THREE BIRDS ,ONE STONE.
1.Free Speech (making a movie against Islam).
2.Religious Freedom ( By labeling the film maker a Christian, the Obama Adm. will now have an extra excuse to investigate Christians to appease the barbarian Muslims.)
3.American respect now extinguished globally. (A dead U.S. Ambassador, Marines, and staff with no protection, no ammo, no preparedness, and no care in the world from this weak, incapable, Pro-Muslim Presidential fraud sitting and earning over $400,000 a year and pension for life.)
But everything is fine according to Carney and the protests aren’t directed at the USA.
Being a lover of history, it’s striking that the flag with a crescent moon isn’t flying over the WH today.
I wonder if anyone in Dearnborn, MI (American’s Mecca)rioted over this film?

Somehow, I find it tragicly ironic that the Islamists have employed the successful tactics of the Anti-Defamation League in their quest to “not be offended”. I would have admonished the ADF, ” Do you not realize that by silencing your opposition with laws, that you too will be silenced?”

The ADF, SPLC, NAACP and the whole pot of acronym soup should suddenly seem rancid to our noses.

I’m not shocked – this is more of the same. Our government will cave to this, because it offers more opportunity to control us and not have to hear the cries of the people – unless they can slap the faces of those crying.

Clearly it’s more plausible that a 14-minute secret propaganda video was produced than Elvis being alive? My only point was that yes, CAIR could possibly have produced this video secretly. Movies, books, arts of all kinds are produced under a pseudonym every day. And, this would be CAIR’s right to do so. Free speech works when it’s not pretty (see political ad). I just think if in fact this were the case that the public might be interested so that they can have the opportunity to make a personal judgement on the use of such tactics. I didn’t even suggest that it was a conspiracy, merely that CAIR’s tactics in the past might suggest that the odds they were involved were greater than the odds the US gov. faked the moolandings.

Show me one attempt by Israel to pass off the attack as being of Egyptian origin. Israel admitted to the attack almost immediately afterwards. You say they attempted a false flag maneuver and failed? Okay then, what went wrong? How could it have worked? How could Israel have convinced us that their French-built planes were actually Egypt’s Russian-built ones when they look nothing alike AND Egypt’s air-force had been destroyed? You claim to use common sense yet you believe Israel would attempt something so unlikely to succeed in order to force the US to join Israel in a war that Israel was winning without our help? It took them only three days to take the entire Sinai. Nasser was so embarrassed that he was caught conspiring to blame the defeat on US and British intervention (we have tapes of the phone call).

Thank you. As your own source admitted, Israel claimed responsibility shortly afterwards without making any attempt to pass off the attack as being of Egyptian origin. Also, I find it noteworthy that the captain seems to be convinced that the US government had some level of involvement, pointing out how assistance was called off. I also find it extremely curious that a military research vessel would be stationed so close to an active war zone. I don’t care if it was international waters, 12.5 miles is still extremely close. Israeli planes had been doing flyovers all day.

Of course, it is still possible that the attack was intentional. My only point is that your false flag theory fails to address the peculiarities of the incident to the point that even the official story is more credible. Allow me to propose an alternative theory provided to me by someone I know whose company sells to the military. According to him, and he seemed quite certain of this, the Liberty was monitoring Israeli troop movements in the Sinai and passing the information to the Saudis. The Saudis in turn passed it to the Egyptians. Israel learned of this and attacked the Liberty. This theory covers all the issues from why the Liberty was deployed where it was, why it was attacked, and why the US was reluctant to take any action that would draw attention to the Liberty. Your theory explains nothing.

After all the Fast and Furious cover up is to keep the American people from learning that Obama administration deliberately let these guns go to Mexico in order to stir up controversy and help get strict gun control legislation. Obama and his Czars will do absolutely anything to achieve their objectives, so producing these movie for the purpose of causing riots and creating sympathy for stronger laws against Islamic slander is not at all out of the question.

The freedom of speech is based on the principals of free will, and is a dual edged sword to not only protect the ability of the People to only allow government by consent, but also to protect the inalienable rights given by our Creator that in order to worship Him, we must have free will independent of the beliefs of others?

If the argument that troops in Afghanistan are in jeopardy, then they don’t belong there in the first place, and the moral, ethical, and political imperative is to take them out of the country, instead of attack the civil rights of the tax payers who make their existence even possible?

The Muslim brotherhood knows it has no legal standing in the United States because no religion can ever take priority over civil rights, hence the observation that “religious rules” can not over ride the legal rights of citizen. For example a church can not seize your house under their belief it is a practice of your religion, because the US Constitution views such beliefs as political, rather than religious?

So what defines a religion? The indisputable practice of preserving the spiritual and separate it from the physical? In other words we can’t seize bibles to prevent people from saving their souls, but neither do we allow what people read in bibles to trample on the rights of others not to believe what a bible says, because that violates freedom of will? Death threats are not legal in America and are not tolerated?

One bit of history everyone has forgotten is War is Hell and to not believe that is stupidity. The harsher, more decisive the defeat, the longer the period of peace afterward. If Bush would have used a nuclear bomb in the mountains in afghanistan, then I seriously doubt we would be having these issues today. Instead he tried to fight a politically correct war and that simply can’t be done, especially when your foe are radical muslims. (I didn’t and don’t agree with Iraq for the same reason I don’t agree with what happened with the arab spring. Who crucified Jesus? I believe his name was Pontius Pilot or however it’s spelled, who was Roman. Only Romans executed by crucifixion. As for Saul etc. I would have to say that Jews treated apostates with equal if not more compassion than Medieval Christians treated apostates to their religion. Or do you not remember how Christians used to torture people into confessing to crimes they didn’t commit? At least under Jewish law one needed to testify before 3 judges and punishment came only after determination of guilt.

Who sent men to capture Christ, Pilate or Caiaphas? Answer: Caiaphas.
Where did these men take Christ, to Pilate or Caiaphas? Answer: Caiaphas.
Who first condemned Christ to death, Pilate or Caiaphas? Answer: Caiaphas.
Who tried to settle the issue by sending Christ to Herod, Pilate or Caiaphas? Answer: Pilate.
Who tried to save Christ’s life with a prisoner swap, Pilate or Caiaphas? Answer: Pilate.
Who washed his hands of the barbarism, Pilate or Caiaphas? Answer: Pilate.

Now does it really sound like the Romans were after this man named Jesus? Answer: No way.
Does it sound like the Romans wanted Christ dead? Answer: No way.
So, why was Christ killed? Answer: Caiaphas threatened to riot if he did not get his crucifixion.
Who killed Christ? Answer: The Jews.

Using your logic, Hitler was innocent, for he never physically killed any Jews. My logic says that Hitler caused the deaths of Jews, therefore, he is the guilty man. Fact is, the Jews killed Christ. Jewish revisionism can not change that fact. It is just more of their propaganda.

You do realize that the bulk of your arguments are taken from the narrative in the Christian bible. As a Jew, that narrative is no more trustworthy than any other historical record from the time. Notably, the Pilate portrayed by Matthew differs from the one described by Josephus and other historians. By their accounting, Pilate wasn’t only not known for his mercy, but was one of the cruelest procurators ever placed in charge of Judea with only Florus actually outdoing him. Pilate had crucified dozens if not hundreds of Jews, had raided the Temple treasuries, and was known for having a temper.

As for Caiaphas, might I remind you that he and most of the Priests were sell-outs to Rome. Caiaphas was appointed to the High Priest position by the Romans. Under him, sacrificial offerings were made to the Roman emperor, a direct violation of Jewish tradition. He and his followers were as much Jews as Obama is American; while true, their actions go against the age old ideals that defined the people they were supposed to represent. No true Jewish court would have demanded crucifixion as a implement of death since Jewish tradition only recognizes four means of execution all of which are relatively quick and painless, especially compared to those use by Rome.

Well, what else are we supposed to think when the WH and the military whoopt’d doos make it look like the military’s focus now is how its members copulate, and the personal freedom that that copulation gives to everyone concerned. When your mind and body is in the other guy’s or gal’s pants, that really adds to one’s ability to defend our country. Perversion without purpose is nothing.

Don’t forget that is so important for every woman to have access to birth control and federally paid access to abortion. Why is copulation and the results thereof so damn important for our president? Does he think that is all Americans think about? Is that freedom to him? May be that is all HE thinks about….the emotional kind and physical as well. That is why the media loves him so…..he is soooo satisfying.

(I’m being extremely sarcastic if you haven’t figured it out yet. I hope to God the majority of armed service isn’t this way. For their sake and ours.) God have mercy on us. We deserve what we get in our government and our leaders.

I am ashamed to have a leader so weak and reckless. Because of his leadership the enemy is at the gate with the keys to the city.

Rep West please speak up regarding your vast knowledge of how our so called leader should have responded to the recent attack on American soil and citizens.

Until we learn the lesson of the inevitability of blowback, Americans will continue to run the sensless greater risk of being murdered as in this case at the embassy.

We haven’t done anything that excuses these murders, the murders on 9/11 or any acts of terrorism. But we have done things that lead them to attack us, like setting up embassies and military bases where they’re not wanted. It’s like trespassing on someone’s property. Doesn’t mean he gets to murder me or my family. But trespassing is still wrong.

Bring our people home; all of them; close all bases and embassies. No foreign aid to anyone. If you as an individual have the desire to help people over in other countries; to send money, go there and help or even go over and fight for someone’s cause, go for it. But don’t take money from the rest of us, by force (taxes) or send our fighting men to spill their blood and lose their lives. their supposed to defend us and our constitution. Please, please help me understand how they’re doing that at any of our embassies; in any of our wars; on any of our bases overseas. Force is for defense, only.

While I would gladly stand shoulder to shoulder with them here to defend our homeland I know the possibility for them to loss their life in some damn desert is real due to the what our government feels we need to be all things to all people. I say bring them home, protect or borders, drill here for oil and then we have no excuse to be there. This is what I thought. I did not know they had a ’10 year plan’ but I knew that there is something sick about a president who instantly apologizes for something a FREE American said on a snippet of film. We do not apologize for freedom-of-speech nor for an American citizen’s act of exercising that right. The Muslims are trying to show us that they will attack embassies and kill people if anyone in America says anything against Islam. We must keep our rights regardless of the muslims. I would make sure Muslims died by the thousands when they kill our people. Muslims must be taught that they cannot bully us. Muslims and obama are our duel enemies.

We agree and differ on lots of things. For one, I believe Israel has a right to exist and defend itself. I also don’t have a problem helping them out…to a point. I have a HUGE problem with the drone strikes in six countries. This is essentially terrorism. Tell a mother who lost a child to a drone strike that it is different than a mother who lost a child to a suicide bomber in a market. Same same from their perspective. I also have a big problem with propping up terrible monster dictators that oppress their people and then claiming to those people that we are about freedom.

      BUT…..

The embassy attacks were coordinated by people with agendas. This was not a grass roots reaction to the things I listed above. Sure they contribute to people’s willingness to participate, but they would have even if we didn’t. The puppet masters in Islam use their sheep as pawns. Their goal is power and a caliphate. We are the big kid on the block or the bad dude in the prison yard. They have to go after us. They were able to orchestrate this because Islam is full of charlatans who pull out the jihad components to manipulate people in order to gain power. The US just makes for an easy target (see reasoning above).

Those attacks weren’t due to generations of US policy…solely. They were due to the fact that this society is locked in the 7th century and their religion and imams sow bloodlust into their fabric of society. There is no reasoning with them.

Rothbardian_in_the_Cleve, you’ve described the symptoms of the disease. I am talking about the etiology of the disease. Israel was forced upon the land of Palestine, that is historical fact. Foreign European and American Jews forced themselves upon Palestine. They did so by terrorism, no less violent than any terrorism of today.

America made itself the vector. When you fight the disease you fight the causing organism and the vector, because both can cause you morbidity and mortality.

We have done this to ourselves. Israel is far from being beneficial to American interests. It is just the opposite. It has brought us pain and suffering through the loss of American lives and wealth.

Granted, so have some of the ham-fisted posts you bother to respond to, but I’d like to know where you stand on the matter of whether Islam is beyond rebuke. You seem more intent on bashing Israel than addressing Islam. Hell, it appears you’re rationalizing any and all violent responses from Islam. You do realize Islam has a bigger beef with the West than the issue of Israel?

The Gooch, I don’t think that one should ever criminalize critique. And, I do agree that there are those in Islam that abuse the faith, just as there are those that abuse Judaism and Christianity. The problem we have here is that all, most, of the hate is directed at Islam, and the haters enjoy protection from our media and each other. There is no balance.

Look, do a thought experiment. Remove me from this website, then ask yourself how much of the other side would be represented. This site would be nothing more than a pro-Israel, at any cost, propaganda place, and that type of bias is no different from Pravda or Hitler’s propaganda machine.

As it is, there is no balance here, or on any of our media sources. It takes hard work, dedication, perseverance, on my part to find out what is really real and what is hype/lies. Luckily, I’m blessed to have the time.

Israel is the source of our hatred in the Middle East. That hate was not there prior to our unconditional support of Israel. They tell us that it is Israel that is our problem. Our problem is, like zealots, we never listen.

I agree the balance is missing. Regarding religion as the primary motivator for murder, how many Muslims are killed by Christians? Now ask yourself how many Christians have been killed by Muslims in the last 5 years.

Jerk, you are blind to your own bias yet try to convince us that you are not.

“I do agree that there are those in Islam that abuse the faith” -Talk about the understatement of the century!

“We have done this to ourselves. Israel is far from being beneficial to American interests. It is just the opposite. I guess we should apologize and admit that 9/11 was a justified response for our support for Israel. The Europeans did not force the Jews onto the Palestinians. There were Jews there under the Ottoman Empire. Are the Ottomans Jewish or European?

More Jews emigrated to the area after 1880.

The British tried to prevent Jewish emigration.

The Jews kicked Arab a$$ in the 1920s, 1930s & 1940s. Otherwise there would be no Jews. the Haganah was formed in the 1920s

The predecessor of Haganah was Hashomer (Hebrew: השומר‎; “The Watchman”) established in 1909, itself a successor of Bar-Giora, founded in 1907. The Bar-Giora consisted of a small group of Jewish immigrants who guarded settlements for an annual fee. At no time did the group have more than 100 members. -wiki

Too many to answer individually, so, here we go.
Palestine was called Palestine in both the Balfour Declaration and by the founder of Zionism, Theodor Herzl, and in the encyclopedias of that time. So, it’s false to say that it is made up.

There was no Israel after 722 B.C.. So, the history goes back much farther than 40 years.

Next, it’s foolish to say that we had 9/11 coming to us. You said, then argued that fictitious point. I stated that the reason was Israel. This is fact, because they told us the reason. They would know the why better than you.

As to who kills who, start here: http://www.ifamericansknew.org/ They are all guilty, which is why we should get out and mind our own business.

As to Jewish terrorism prior to the establishment of the state, any fool can find that out. Start with the Stern Gang, then go to the Irgun… then see who labeled them as terrorists.

What else am I missing? Notice the facts, not the hype.

cause_glen_said_so, regarding your claim the “convert or die” statement is false, I present the following argument:

The Quaran states that Islam will rule the world and that the conquered have the following options:

      1. Convert to Islam
      2. Do not convert, but pay “Jizya” (A tax)
      3. Death if you refuse to convert and pay the jizya

Muslims in a few countries have there own interpretation and offer only two options, if even that:

      1. Convert
      2. Die

Examples are numerous regarding Egyptian Coptic Christians, Nigerian Christians, etc.

If the radical interpretation of the Quaran is generally supported by certain countries or groups within, I argue that the stronger argument is one that states you must convert or die, as the option of jizya is not recognized. The statement convert or die is the stronger argument and closer to the truth in these areas.

Now for Jews, this is a different story. Top Islamic clerics in Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the US, UK, and Europe have all publicly supported or refuse to condemn the ultimate goal to destroy Israel and it’s people not only in Israel, but anywhere they are found on this planet. That is why the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Muslim Brotherhood allied with Hitler. They are as strong today if not stronger than during their alliance with the Third Reich.

I am interested in your response to my argument.

With his statement questioning the “convert or die” policy for muslims, he is obviously an ignorant fool. Try as you like, but the term “you can’t fix stupid” applies in this case.

Any historian with half a brain knows that the muslims used the “convert or die” policy to sweep accross the African continent. The major push centuries ago was focused on the Sahara countries (due primarily to the impenetrable mid-section of the continent). Since then, after securing a rock-solid foothold in the north, they have been chipping away at the sub-saharan countries.

Regardless, death on a grand scale has always followed the muslim religion. We were sponsoring a African child and her parents were both killed by muslims that burned down their church (after they locked everyone inside)

Momrules-thanks but it was kind of a rhetorical statement…..have you ever checked out MEMRITV? There is so much info out there about what’s going on with this crap…I just wish more people would get up to speed before we’re all dhimmies or dead.

This is my shocked face. :-0

Anybody with a brain knew this was coordinated. Would some reporter PLEASE ask the POTUS if he should be accountable for the fact that people we armed literally weeks ago just killed our ambassador? When should we expect the resignation of Hilary Clinton?

Come on now…you know the media will never do that to their dear old Obama…..now if it was Romney….then the media would have been beating down his door at 3 am to get answers. But you noticed the media left Obama alone at 3 am.

Why should they do that when there are more important issues at hand, such as 50 cent endorsing Dear Leader?
