and not just merely beneficial like other fruits and food according to the Noble
Quran:
The Noble Quran is filled with scientific
statements and notions. These are statements of Allah Almighty describing
how He created things on earth and in the Universe. What's most amazing is
that all of these scientific statements and notions had been proven to be in
perfect agreement with science and our modern-day scientific
discoveries. Allah Almighty made the Noble Quran be Prophet Muhammad's
(peace be upon him) Everlasting Divine Miracle and proof for Prophethood.
The Holy Book certainly stood the test of time 1,500 years ago with Its
Claims, Prophecies and Miraculous language eloquence, and it does again and
again in our day today with Its overwhelming agreement with science and
discoveries that were not known to man 1,500 years ago.
With this said, notice in the Noble Verses below how Allah Almighty said that
honey is a healing medicine.
It is not just only beneficial like most fruits. No, it is also healing.
Let us look at Allah Almighty's Divine Claims in Noble Verses
16:68-69. As we clearly and indisputably see below, Allah
Almighty declared that honey contains healing and medicine for mankind.

wherein is healing for men:
verily in this is a Sign for those who give thought.

[016:068] And thy Lord revealed to the bee :`Make thou houses in the
hills and in the trees and in the trellises which they build,
[016:069] `Then eat all manner of fruits, and follow the ways taught
to thee by thy Lord and which have been made easy for thee.' There comes
from their bellies a drink of varying hues.
Therein is a healing for
mankind. Surely, in that is Sign for a people who
reflect.
Shakir:
[016:068] And your Lord revealed to the bee saying: Make hives in the
mountains and in the trees and in what they build:
[016:069] Then eat of all the fruits and walk in the ways of your
Lord submissively. There comes forth from within it a beverage of many
colours, in which
there is healing for men;
most surely there is a sign in this for a people who reflect.

[016:068] And thy Lord inspired the bee, saying: Choose thou
habitations in the hills and in the trees and in that which they thatch;

Lo! herein is indeed a portent for people who reflect.

Lord, precisely. From their bellies comes a drink of different colors,

[016:068] And thy Lord hath taught the BEE, saying: "Provide thee
houses in the mountains, and in the trees, and in the hives which men do

[016:069] Feed, moreover, on every kind of fruit, and walk the

through swarms of bees, pulled like a magnet to the hive despite being stung many times
over, they had to observe the pain the animal endured to get the sticky stuff. When they
finally got their own hands on honey, they discovered that it not only tasted great,

it healed their bee stings and other cuts, too. The women used it on their faces. Taken
for colds, it soothed sore throats. Given to children in the evening, honey was found to
keep many an animal skin dry by morning.

Teaching Hospital in Calabar, Nigeria,

sterile wounds sterile until they had time to heal, while infected wounds became sterile
within a week. Honey was also shown to remove dead tissue from persistent wounds, helping
some patients avoid skin grafts or amputations.
"Honey provides a moist healing environment yet prevents bacterial growth even
when wounds are heavily infected," notes Dr. Peter Molan of the Honey Research Unit
at the University of Waikato, New Zealand. "It is a very effective means of quickly
rendering heavily infected wounds sterile, without the side effects of antibiotics, and it
is even effective against antibiotic-resistant strains of bacteria." "
