1. Man has salvation because God desires to give it, and He has promised to give salvation to all who trust Him for it. 1. Allah's will for man cannot be known, and man may have salvation only if Allah wills for him to have it.

2. Salvation is brought about by a divine act; God, acting in Christ, has made it possible. 2. Human actions help to get salvation
