DEIFICATION
One of the gravest accusations against Christians that is found in the Qur'an
is the charge that Christians have deified Jesus, who was merely a messenger
of Allah.
The author of the Qur'an did apparently not understand that the Bible and
Christian doctrine speaks of exactly the opposite, the incarnation of God,
i.e. God who became man, not the elevation of a human to the level of deity.
