*  DAVID LITTMAN is an historian. From 1985-1991 he was the main representative of the World Union for Progressive Judaism (WUPJ) to the United Nations Office in Geneva (See "Human Rights and Human Wrongs", Nos. 1 to 11, WUPJ, Geneva). Since 1992 he has been accredited by several non-governmental organizations, and has been a representative of the Association for World Education for several years. In 2001 he was again accredited by the WUPJ.
